So today I decided was a good day to tidy up my rusty ol' calipers - been looking at colour options to go with my Nile (not vile!!) but decided on black as kinda like the idea of everything being nile blue / black / silver. Anyway, thought I'd take a few pics of my afternoon's fun...

How they looked... (Rusty)



After wire brushing and brake cleaner...



Etch primer...



While they were off, I gave the Cyclones a good clean...





Painted... much better Big grin



Wheels back on, can't see them all that well in this pic but they look 10x better imo



And while I was there... popped on the new clear repeaters, happy days!

Did you remove the pads before you painted them? Otherwise they'll stick into the caliper now...

    Thats the best calliper painting technique I have ever seen. You've got balls lol. Laugh my ass off
    Thats some nice masking / covering of the disk tho.

    yeah painted the edges as I wasn't loving the grey plastic
    look they had going on... Look much better now imo. Still chuffed with them tho so thanks!!

    Haha, can't believe you didn't even bother to take the caliper/carriers off!
    You just sprayed the f*ckers still on, you make me laugh, looks okay though bud Smile

    Haha couldn't be bothered with taking them all off! Nah, although a sandwich bag could probably work - its some special masking stuff - basically a wrap with tape on one side.
