In some supercharged conversions the hydraulic power steering pump replaced with electric one, is this has influence on the steering and feedback the driver feel ?

if anything you get less feedback through epas

the standard hydraulic is best but has to be removed if you eant to keep aircon

It shouldn't affect the feel. We're only talking about a new pump here, it's still the same hydraulic system just that the pump is motor driven rather than mechanically driven.

i know that , maybe the electric pump doesn't supply the pressure the way the belt driven pump does ?
everyone tell me that the belt driven pump steering
have the best feedback but don't know how to explain it.

The EPAS pump does generate a fair whack of pressure so it may just be the extra assistance changing the steering feel.

i'v found article about steering feedback,
not relating to the steering system at all,
interesting .
"The steering must offer enough ''feel'' to the driver so that he can
sense what's happening as he approaches the cornering limit of the
tires. It must also have some self-returning action, but it cannot be
so heavy as to cause fatigue or loss of sensitivity. This feel,
feedback and self-returning action is a function of kingpin
inclination, steering offset
and castor angle :

Therefore the amount of torque steer is proportional to D. The
solution is to build more inclination to the kingpin so to reduce D.
This is easy to be implemented in double wishbones suspension which
is shown in the picture, but not MacPherson strut, whose kingpin also
serves as spring and shock absorber. If we incline the kingpin too
much, there will be too much lateral force transmit via the spring /
shock absorber to the car body, thus causing shake and instability.

Therefore we say MacPherson strut is not very suitable for FWD cars
having a powerful engine. Alfa Romeo 164 is one of the examples,
whose torque steer ruined the otherwise brilliant handling. No wonder
its successor, 166, has switched to double wishbones front suspensions."

Yes, that's the whole point of the Revo-Knuckle and similar systems.
It's also why you should stay in Peugeots recommended range for wheel offset.
But it wasn't the question Razz
