Getting my clutch done this weekend and my mechanic reckons on £400 or so all in, saying the gti6 clutch is a nightmare to fit and takes hours. he also says the clutch itself will be around £200? The clutch here is also £200, so I'm assuming that's about right? Does it really take that long to fit? is that a good price? |

400 bout the going rate. Went to get one on my last one done but ended up selling car. My quotes were over 400 f*cking sucks when clutch goes. He'll be using his book that states it take 5.6 hrs or something like that. Thats what my local garages did ________________________________________ Back to my phase 2 in black on the road.Phase 3 sold after spending fortune on it.. It wont be missed. Stan306 helped me do mine, that I'm eternally great-full for the best bit was laying under the car and doing push-ups with the gearbox until the person from above gets it locked in and bolted up!
