I am a bit confused/ suprised.
Just removed the rear ARB and found that the splines at one end are not engaging. It appears as if the end plate splines are a different size to the bar splines.

Because it has not been engaging for some time the splines on the lower side of the end plate have worn away.

Are there different size splines/end plates?

Should I replace the whole unit or just the worn end plate.??

They are different at each end Paul. Make sure you are using the right end Wink

If the ends are different, it looks like someone has fitted the wrong end on the Offside( should this be the smaller of the 2?)
The nearside end is OK, so need a ARB plus offside plate.

The offside is smaller end Yes

You should only be able to slide the bar in from the nearside when fitting. And you need to get the offside plate off first when removing it.
