Sorry to disappoint you Rikky, but that long hair went away about 2 years ago now..it didn't say when it would be back. The passenger seat went back in last night. I'm now going to have to experiment with sound deadening, as I want to find a balance between stripped out but still acceptable on the motorway. The OEM carpet foam moulding that lines the rear footwell is surprisingly heavy, but also I presume effective. Are there any fancy sound deadening materials available that are lighter but still work well? Also thinking of some carbon sheet to cover the now-exposed rear panels, thought it might look good. Will take some proper pics soon. ________________________________________ Democracy is two wolves and a lamb voting on what to have for lunch....Liberty is a well-armed lamb contesting the vote. Ha! I am getting the impression every time Jim posts on my project thread, it's just to p*ss on my cornflakes in some capacity?! Luckily my OCD isn't that bad (that photo for some reason makes it look worse than it is), plus hopefully over the years I'll be too busy driving the car on track and lapping the Ring to be noticing the symmetry of the interior.. ________________________________________ Democracy is two wolves and a lamb voting on what to have for lunch....Liberty is a well-armed lamb contesting the vote. I'm just jealous, car looks spot on. I too am thinking of ditching my passenger seat mounts as it would make location of fuel pumps, ecu, fire extinguisher, swirl pot and accusump a whole lot easier. Plus it helps to offset my weight on the other side of the car somewhat. (Not by much though) ________________________________________ R H Davey Welding Supplies. They're Recaros alright, originally from a Mitsubishi Evo (6 or 7) I believe..although I actually bought them from Ash (they were on his sc'd china) so fortunately he'd already done all the hard work working out mountings, etc. so effectively they came ready to fit a 306. Which was bloody handy!I really like them, they look like they came with the car, but they're a tonne lighter than the stock seats and most importantly have the slots for harnesses. ________________________________________ Democracy is two wolves and a lamb voting on what to have for lunch....Liberty is a well-armed lamb contesting the vote. They look like Evo 8 seats from what I can see of them, very supportive in the bends. |

Hello Cosmic,This might be a long shot as it seems you are not that much around here. I saw a Youtube video of you on the Ring which was lovely to look at. I wanted to ask how you got all the data as g-forces, speed and the actual map of the ring on the video? And at last can you tell me how much you exhaust from H&S did set you back? Would love one for my low boost 6. Cheers and thank you in advance Marco |
