having problems with central locking on my gti 6.. turn the key to lock it and it unlocks itself straight away. i have been removing fuse so can leave it secure in car parks etc at the moment.. i sprayed the mechanisms yesterday with some wd40 just incase one was sticking a wee bit and it worked all night until this morning it has gone back to the way it was.. ive tried more lube and bit cleaning but still not working, could it be a faulty connection, lock etc. what can i test to determin what is causing the problem. any info is gratefull |

I had the same problem with mine, had to disconnect the wires for the cental locking in the doors in the end just so i could lock my car.Ive been told it most likely to be the central locking box. Still aint got mine sorted yet! Hope this helps mate. ________________________________________ 98 onyx black 306 Rallye53 Nissan Primastar silver (work horse) 58 black Volvo c30 sport |
