VEMS standalone ECU for the 306 GTI6 / Xsara VTS

It's a plug and play ECU, there's no need for additional wiring / harness.

It comes with the usual stuff found on VEMS Genboard v.3 and:

-wideband lambda function
-EGT

It uses all the original sensors, and what is really rare - it can deal with the coil on plug ignition design the XU10J4RS has.

It was mapped for a near standard ph.1 Xsara VTS, so it has a great basemap for any XU10J4RS engine!

It's like this:

DP-engineering VEMS PnP for the XU10J4RS

this certain unit wasn't made by DP-engineering, but the hungarian VEMS distributor

(price at DP-engineering ~1150)

This can run the latest VEMS firmware, and it can run up to 4 different maps (say, one for petrol, one for E85, one for race etc...)

price now: £450

"At the moment it's in a running Xsara VTS, so it even comes with a good base map for the RS engine

LOL

it has been mapped by the most rated hungarian tuner, he worked for over days on it to make it perfect for that car, and my friend had to pay such huge amount of money that he did not let me know Big grin

BUMP!!!!!!

Huge price drop to £600!!!!!!!

This has to go! There's no way you can get a standalone ECU cheaper than this!!!!! And you don't have to make a new wiring harness, and buy new sensors, and it even works with the OEM Pug. coils!!!

DTA S40 is £475, uses all stock sensors, but as you say you do need to spend more than an S40 to use sequential spark Smile (something like S60, which is £800)

Is this VEMS unit Plug and play in an o.e 55 pin 3 row ecu plug? no additional Wideband controller required?

Just look at the pictures Mate. Smile You can see that it has the original 306 GTI6 ECU plug - that's why it's plug and play.

There is no need for a new engine harness, it uses the original sequential spark system, and the wideband controller is built into the unit, so no additional controller needed!

Please let me know how much a similar spec'd DTA would cost? And how much would be to have a wiring harness made?

There's a reason why Dp-engineering sells these for 980GBP...

It was 39GBP to post two 406 Brembo calipers with pads and brake lines from Hungary to the UK, so it should be under that!

Just let me know if you want this, and I'll calculate the exact posatge fees Wink

My drift car is mapped on VEMS and it is indeed very good - its a MAS based system for a start Big grin

The chap who mapped mine charged me £200 for the day, including roller use IIRC, nopw that you definitely arent going to beat Smile
