If not, are they interchangeable throughout the range ?

air con 1 might be a higher amperage but the pulley and mounting points are the same

Does the higher amperage make a difference ?

Can you use the lower amp one on a model normally running the high amp one without any probs ?

yeah its all fine, im currently running a d-turbo 50amp on mine (only 1 i had spare) its all fine only prob i cant have the stereo on if going less than 3k rpm but i do have an 80 amp draw with my sound syatem
