Hi all a little help.My car has developed a vicious body shake now ive had all wheels balanced traking checked and i have even looked at the bearings. ( IT seems to shake alot more when the car is warm and in top gear when accelerating.) Any help would be much apreciated as it is ruining my experience with the pug.I've checked the FAQ to see if this has happend to any 1. ________________________________________ Leeay |

Could be worn gearbox mount?Does it shake the car while idling? Can you move the engine much with your hands? Cyclones are renowned for being incorrectly balanced due to the lack of centre holes, garages don't balance them correctly. |

Sounds like knackered driveshafts to be honest. Shaking gearstick is a common symptom of this.FYI gearbox mount is on the nearside in the engine bay under the battery box. |

Bent driveshaft rather than worn/deteriorated. Get the car up on axle stands (both sides!) and take off the wheels, start the engine and watch the little fecker wobble like a mofo... |
