not what Matt at Ecosse told me, said the owner had done a trackday and cooked it, the head was all fully rebuild so he said it should be a problem, that and the shell wasnt mint so I left it.

unless there was 2 blue XSi with T16 engine in?

I'm fairly sure there weren't 200 imported to the UK. More like 10 max.

Lush project car there mate and I love the street sleeper. What suspension are you going to use?

There was only 4 405 T16s registered new in the UK! All were left had drive! There has been a few imports registered over the years but there was only about 400 405 T16 made in total, most of which the french police had!

There is one of the Uk registered ones near here but the stupid old man that has had it since it was 3 years old wont sell it!!Sad

I assume your talking about the guy from the North of Scotland that takes it to go fishing or something!

Not 1 T16 but 2... Big grin

Sorry mate missed your reply somewhere! I bought the stereo slot original from Peugeot. I bought seperately the 3 - hole panel and fitted it(after much work) into the stereo slot. After that I did some glue material between the open spaces. After that I sended it to a factory which we call ''flocken''. With the result of the picture. Can you buy it somewhere? No. Easy to make? Yes! Wink

Finally we made a test drive guys, see movie below.

It was only test driving, on a industrial area with ( a possibility) of loads of bicycles... So no, it was not the full whack... Razz Also made a small test drive on the highway and it passed by the 230 km/h with easy...

The engine is complete stock same as the 405 T16. Also the electrical is the same as the 405 T16.. Important results of that are; no full boost in first, 2nd and third gear. In the 4th gear and fifth the overboost function reacts and pushes up the turbo to 1.3 bar.

@ 1.3 bar the engine produces 220 Bhp and 320 Nm so that are the figures this engine has. When chipped the 260 bhp is easily to reach. I'm very happy with the Quaife installed, what a nice piece of technology! Cool

Also played with a brand new Renault Megane RS, unfortunaley for the RS I was pushing him up on full acceleration.. Big grin
