I'm going to rebuild my 306 GTi6 engine but I am going to remove the A/C pump as it is rubbish and can't be arsed with the headwork of putting it back it. When I change the belt, will a 306 Rallye belt fit it (They don't have A/C?) instead of the standard GTi6 one

You need the whole setup including pullies and tensioner.

I would need the Rallye pullies and tensioners aswell? How are they different. They were going to be changed as I'll be rebuilding the engine but didn't know there was any difference

Yep, as above the tensioner and idle roller are different between AC and non AC.
