It had a cg cars jet wash but yes a lovely car none the less, and a chap who loves it to bits so gets all polished and pampered. allesclar wrote: hmmmm, do you use the same ECU map on it as a 6'? No as it has the later ecu, more tricky and the l4 emissions standards, two lambdas, the three plugged ecu unit, it was done by superchips, not as simple as you may think, alot of head scratching and time in the garage at home. Slight differences to the wiring, during the process- Carl Why after all that work is it running an early single plug, non multi-plexxed Marelli 1AP ECU then? I think "Superchips" have mugged you off ________________________________________ Contact Details:rich@lynxpowerengineering.co.uk 07732 822546 |

I don't know where and how, but Xsara Racer on CXOC had his car remapped (ph.2 VTS, 3 plug BOSCH ECU), but it was in France....________________________________________ VTSbest 60' : 2.272 best 1/8 ET : 9.375 @ 74.42mph best 1/4 ET: 14.603 @ 97.047mph Team Trackday™ |

Multiplex ecu's are a biatch!Looks like the loom been converted for the 1ap ecu Although would mean it'll run no immobiliser and abs might not work??? ________________________________________ Team Supercharged Gti-6NV Motorsport Automotive Performance Tuning 0121 448 7515 ECU Remapping/ DPF removal VAG/BMW Diag and Option Coding Peugeot Planet ECU coding/transponder programming etc www.nvmotorsport.com Facebook Page Project S6 |

it runs the ph.1 Xsara ECU as a piggyback unit, the original ECU keeps the BSI happy ________________________________________ VTSbest 60' : 2.272 best 1/8 ET : 9.375 @ 74.42mph best 1/4 ET: 14.603 @ 97.047mph Team Trackday™ |

The cars original 3 plug ECU has been left there purely to maintain functionality of the onboard computer etc etc. My main point is it does run the same map as the GTi-6 and Phase 1 Xsara, and claiming Superchips have mapped it is a load of shite. ________________________________________ Contact Details:rich@lynxpowerengineering.co.uk 07732 822546 |
