just bought a little phase 1 dturdbo which is phase 1, is it possible to buy a plug that swaps the looms? or is it a snip job? to make it phase 2/3 rear lighted?

Easiest way is to get some ph1 lexus looms.

It is possible to cut the wires and hardwired ph2/3 plugs on.

the bonnet line is different, you'll have a big gap above the headlamp by the grille

I have some lexus looms and ph2 lights if your interested?
