Really cannot be bothered doing the job myself and i'm 99.9% i'll be needing one, Heater never really gets that hot even though the pipes to and from it do and i can smell coolant sometimes Sad

yet oddly i don't use water, except a bit that came out of the overflow the other day, where should the level sit in the "expansion tank" ?

Just need a reputable and cheapish person to sort it. On a 95 s16 if it makes any difference

I have the same symptoms, after using k seal there was a lot of steam and smell of coolant but cleared up a few minutes later. I just got the condensation but didnt when heater was on cold. No obvious leaks or coolant loss.

Could mine be a very small leak or air lock or both. Im thinking of trying some flush then redo the k seal again if its a small leak.

Also the heating system has always been rather on the cool side since bought 4 years ago.
