Hey Wes, I go to Aalten 2 to 3 times a year with my GF. I don't know if you mean my first blaze 6, or my current one the diabolo one. I'm waiting for some parts as brakes, balljoints, p bushes and rear beam mounts to put on, so i'm thinking about starting my first project thread. If i do so i'll put up some updated pictures of my 6.

Thumbs up

I was wondering if anyone could help me out with a problem. I bought the heater plates of Metal Monkey last week.

Because one of the conventional bulbs stopped working I also have to change the bulbs.

When I was looking how to change the bulbs I found a FAQ how to do that:
http://www.306gti6.com/forum/showthread.php?id=72114
As I still have some LED and conventional bulbs from my dial install, I thought changing the heater plates would be a piece of cake.
But if I look at the FAQ the guy is telling that the bulbs are totally different (these ones are soldered and in a holder) from the conventional ones (which are behind your dials). Because I have a white main colour background I do not want a strange orange effect because of the standard bulbs.

- Is it possible to buy LED bulbs including holder for the heater?
- Where can I find such LED bulbs?
- Do I have to solder the LED bulbs into the holder?

It would be great if someone could help me out.
Thanks in advance...

Wes

Nice write up and welcome to the club mate.

Unsure about the bulbs but perhaps make a seperate post for them asking that specific question mate, someone will know.

I liked your old wheels better! sorry Smile

Thanks for your help!
I think I have to become member to have permission to open new threads in those sections.
You should see them in real life....on screen they're not really special Wink
They have a great finishing touch (letters milled on the outer side)!
