I'm looking for a light set of 16" wheels atm and came across these:

Enkei's in 4*108 16" 7j et should be 18 or 15

Does anyone have any experience with enkei?
Or knows what type these are so I can check the weight Razz (since the seller cba with taking of the tyres and weighing them)

*edit* they do look like the enkei's on this evo6:

Look for rallystyles post as these are quite rare alloys in 306 fitment iirc as they are forged alloys and weight very little

And how do you keep finding all the alloys??you need to sell the lions to me so you can make room in the garage Wink

Rallyestyle is your man for the Enkei's. He has them on his Rallye and they look awesome. Unfortunately I think only 4 sets were ever available, at least in the UK, so not sure what their availability is like over in Belgium?

He has posted pics of them on the forum somwhere, will post here if I find them.

*EDIT: Here we go:

Cool

I have a set of Enkei's on my Rallye, they are a Peugeot Sport R&D set that were intended for rally, they are in white and look like the ones on the evo in your link and just like the ones in the pic of the 306 Yes

The set i have are pretty lightweight and very very strong, however they were designed for rally and not the road so may be of a different composition to the ones in your pic. They are et 18 and fit perfectly, i also managed to make myself a snazzy brake kit to go under mine Ninja

hahaha, well ash, I'm a bit like you when it comes to alloys I guess LOL can't stop buying Ninja

I got interested when a mate of mine got these:

from a S16 which was used for rally.
And they seem to weigh 6.6kg (without tyre)

So started looking out for these aswell (I was actually looking for mo's or 2108's)

The guy selling them is a rally-photographer so chances are these come from a rally-car as well!
oo and again, the price is reaaaalllyy nice
Happy

Just need a way to make sure these are genuine enkei's Hmm

That is the key Yes The wheel is basically a 16" version of the WRC Tarmac Evo Forged wheel which was a very limited run for the Lancer Evolution.

Enkei never made these 16" wheels for the road, they were produced purely for motorsport, im pretty sure Enkei didnt even make any road wheels for the 306 Yes

The white one in the photo certainly looks just like mine Yes If you can check the silver alloy and see if it has the raised 'Enkei Sport' on the rim it would be a start. I would presume they have been refurbed in silver so might be worth checking, i have seen many look-i-like wheels in this style so check carefully Thumbs up

Good spot Thumbs up

If you could find out as much history as you can on these wheels on your side of the channel i would really appreciate it Yes They certainly are rare and i would love to know if Enkei made some more sets for privateer rally teams.

Cheers, get them snapped up quick and if you dont i would be very interested in them as a track set Thumbs up
