Arse whip the plugs out and before you stick the tester in spin it over and see if it does a water fountain impression. ________________________________________ need a part number? get on here - http://public.servicebox.peugeot.comBring on the Trumpets. |

Yeah was talking to Carl chambers earlier and we couldn't really come to a decent conclusion. Going to test it in various ways and see what happens..Very tempted to break it if it is more than the HG tbh. ________________________________________ Nothing to see here |

Coilpack had lost its two bolts and was floating above the spark plug. This must have made the ecu back off the fuelling causing the pinking. Now connected again the car is just running on three as the pack is knackared. No knocking/pinking now though. Replacement coming tonight Get in! ________________________________________ Nothing to see here |

had a look at the wiring diagram, all 4 coils are supplied 12v+ from one wire on the relay, then splits into 4 nearer the coilpacks, same as it does with the injectors.________________________________________ need a part number? get on here - http://public.servicebox.peugeot.comBring on the Trumpets. |

Right guys its running on 2 cylinders, the two closest to the cambelt. I know this as disconnecting the injectors on that side make no difference. The other two kill the engine. All the plugs are black and a bit wet - all look the same. No water in oil or oil in water. Changing over coilpacks made no difference and i've changed the ignition relay with no difference. Disconnecting the MAP and crank sensors kill the engine but the cam sensor, engine temp, lambda or TPS don't kill it. f*ck only knows?! This happened gradually over 20 minutes the other day. ________________________________________ Nothing to see here |
