hi guys, used to have a 306 gti6 then i got a ctr and then a 306 hdi, but now got a 106 gti. I been looking at mods for it and obviously apart from filter etc the only other thing i was thinking of was cams. Just wondering if anyone has any idea what ones are best, obviously need to be fast road not competition use. I mean i probably need a remap but just wondering why kent cams are 600 quid and cat cams etc are 300. Thanks for any help guys, allways come back here for sound advice. ________________________________________ R***ULRlowered 60mm with G-max springs, k and n 57i air filter, sports cat and iridium 9 spark plugs Team Diablo |

As with any model, there's loads of options. One of the most common, and what I run in my Rallye 16v, are the 708 catcams. You will need a remap or aftermarket management, but they consistently see a good 20-25% power gain - mine was rolling roaded at 157bhp and I've seen plenty of others between 155 and 160. Hope that helps. ________________________________________ Trackday, trackday, trackday |

cheers, didnt know i put it there haha. Just wondering what ones to go for as like i say kent are so expensive and alot of people rate newmans but im hesitant to add cams if the improvement will be minimal.________________________________________ R***ULRlowered 60mm with G-max springs, k and n 57i air filter, sports cat and iridium 9 spark plugs Team Diablo |
