The spoox one looks identical to the ecosse one I tried! For ages I messed about with it. Tried fitting it EVERY possible way and IMO it doesnt fit. Ecosse even ended up emailing me a Pug exploded diagram to be absolutely sure I had it fitted in the right place and of the correct orientation. When its fitted in the way they describe - said gear linkage arm then fouls the exhaust manifold when it swings which is borderline whether its even in gear or not or just loudly tapping the exhaust in 1st 3rd and 6thDry

This is when I tried it every other way just to be sure it didnt fit and I couldnt get it to work anywhere else either.Sad so I sent it back for a refund!

So i just bought a GE one fitted it in 10 mins and still claim its the best cheapest mod to do to a GTI6Happy been 100% reliable to!

I've had a GE quickshift on my '6 for around 1000 miles now. I haven't tried any others, so have no basis for comparison, but I can certainly say it's the best

+1 to that. I fitted a gE to my 6 and it's been awesome. See the GE thread. Next up, lightened fly wheel...
