im thinking of lowering my gti6 60mm (front) 80mm (back).
but ive heard i wil need to cover my sump up is this true? and has anyone got any pictures of a lowerd gti 6

Are you sure you want to go that low, it will ruin the handling! You want to drop it about 30mm Thumbs up

go for the drop mate i done 60+ plus on my gti 6 and rallye, never heard of the sump catching just the splitter and the exhaust heres a couple of pics

IF you go on the gallery to t11 hac i have a hdi on there thats lower than 80mm and a gti6 that 65mm all round

i did mine 60 mm at first and found driving was like been on a permanant trampoline, raised it back up to 40 mm and much nicer to drive with great handling to.

Lower is best, When I;ve got mine fully low I can just get my foot under the bumper!!, But I do have a proper front end

For normal use 25mm is fine or the rear will go AWOL
