hi guys was on facebook chatting away to a guy i recently met through work. we got onto the subject of cars pretty quickly and as soon as i mentioned i had a gti-6 he wouldnt shut up about his mates he is storing which is for currently for sale. im goign to take a look at this on saturday purely for the fact its suposed to be a compleat animal. after he has taken me out for a spin ill take a few pictures and come back to you with a spec and as much info as possible. so far all i have been told is that its had 10k spent at longmans over the years and car will be going for

When you hear Longmans and 300 BHP in the same sentence, you begin to wonder Laugh

I would be very suprised if it made over 250 BHP.

I never was one of the white trainer brigade, or the 4 stripe 'addas' specials from Merthyr market I'm afraid.

I'm going to find a decent Mr Bigglesworth image to print and stick on the side windowWink

I've spoke to this guy the car was on pistonheads a while ago. The engine sounds spot on as long as it is what he says it is, but I wouldn't want it as a road going engine. If its anything like mine its not exactly happy at low revs, I could be wrong though.

The car itself is basically a stripped diablo gti-6, no cage, cheap buckets etc. Not bad money for it really as long as your more interested in the engine than the car. If I had

just because it has the "longmans" name on it doesn't mean its going to be 300 bhp LOL

they did a lot of varying work over the years.

Its not 300bhp, its more like 270bhp. 40mm big end steel crank, forged rods and pistons etc different valves, springs, solid buckets, ported head etc etc. Basically a full on race engine.

They idle fine by the way...no different to our 6 really.

the guy purchased the same engine as me at the same time and has all the same bits on it so will be good for 270bhp
