Hi all

Cars in today due to fuel leak (fuel filter corroded through, though it had a new one fitted 2 months ago! so wasn't changed regardless of what the invoice says - must of been a bad day!) but anyway..

When under the car inspecting the knocking noise as well, my mate noticed that both the rear bilstein B4 shocks are totally different sizes!! though they both state BNE-1931.

Does anyone know what the actual size of the shock should be so I can buy a replacement?? (width wise they are supposed to be noticably different)

Explains why it handles the way it does partly as well compared to the last 6 I had.

Any help appreciated

Ry

In what dimension? Length or diameter?

Tbh, it's probably best to replace both at the same time so it's damped evenly on each side. Plus the general consensus is that the B4 shocks are a bit poo.

Peugeot ones are usually regarded as the best for a standard'ish car. They come in around

Thumbs up It should feel better afterwards though.

Seems odd that they have the same part number. Unsure

Just fyi, they appear to be on offer from Yeomans again. They're the ones with the 5206K6 reference number. click

Part no's on both were "BNE-1931".

Looking in their catalogue it states part numbers

5206.K4
5206.K5
5206.K9
5206.90

How would I tell if it's GrpN phillipm?
