hello all lucky fellow owners of the silver lion!
any way, i have just bought a 306 gti-6 on a v, i believe its a phase 3?....
for some reason when im just sat idiling, the car creeps up to 110, just below the red....then a slow fan kicks in, but it never seems to go back down unless i wack the heaters up full.
its fine when im driving
i have had the system blead thru properly, so no air lock....

any answers would be greatful.
and any 1 message me if your from cornwall area!

if you was talking vag, im well up there on knowlege but im new to the pug scene, i had a phase 2 dturbo, as a work car. liked it that much i bought a p3 gti-6.

yeah mine too. im pretty sure its fine aslong as it does not touch the red!

Every gti 6 will do exactly the same. They are prone too running this hot dude! As long as your fans work they will stop the engine from being damaged, So just roll with it

it doesnt sound like the fans going all that quick...my mates 106 sounds like a small air craft!
at what point should the fan kick in?
