Thanks for the positive feedback Tom and Ewan, it's always good to hear from customers who are satisfied with the work I carry out

Don't hesitate to contact me again if you need anything else; that also goes for anyone else!

Happy motoring guys,

Smile

Deepak I've just moved to London from Wales, I was wondering if I could bother you for a coolant bleed , new thermostat and brown sensor at some point, how much do you think that would set me back?

Once again a BIG thankyou to Deepak.

My Head Gasket on my Rallye decided it wanted to show it was on it's last legs, as i was dropping off my Mrs car to be looked at.

A new engine, clutch and some new bits for the suspension and the car is a totally different machine. Thumbs up

Very happy Rallye owner (for the time being anyway, until something else gives up! Smile

Thanks,

Steven

Thanks for the feedback Steven.

It's good to know that my engine has gone to a deserving owner who I know will look after it Smile

I'm glad you're happy with the service mate, I'm sure the next time I see you will be for an oil change!

So Everyone,

The time has come; I'm not doing any more private work. Effective immediately. (I have one car in the garge and that's going to be my last).

This "job" that I have is putting too much strain on my relationship with my girlfriend, from the very first time I serviced a car at home in fact.

It doesn't help that part shops ALWAYS get my order wrong, costing me time and money.

Anyway, I now have a very good job that pays me well enough not to do private work anymore.

I'm finally in a position where I can have my time and life back.

Deepak

Lol. Yes I have. They're not that filthy though... Just the toilets and galleys that reek, and it's mainly mechanics who deal with that. Oh wait, I am a mechanic Doh!

I'm the hagars, service checks mainly, kinda inbetween line and base as the aircraft aren't supposed to spend more than 3 days in there, but they normally stay about 4-5 as they love being broken!

What do you do at TC, are you licensed? On a contract?

Sounds fun Mark, I doubt I'll ever see the type of heavy work you do at LHR unfortunately. But at the moment I'll enjoy the unsameyness of it all!

Oh and Dave, we'll leave my statement at that. The whole world would stop flying if they knew what faults aircraft fly with...

I see you work for BA Deepak, i'm currently working for DHL Supply chain down at Colnbrook on the BA catering contract, we supply all the lovely food that goes on board the planes you fix. Was supposed to be going airside sometime soon but i think that's been put on hold for a bit, fancy giving me a tour sometime?! I know which side of the fence i'd rather be working and it's the big noisy side! Good choice of avatar too, was half tempted to go with the umpa lumpur myself.

Dammit Giles, I was trying to scare a few folk...

Thanks for the support guys, and Jim I don't have an airside pass yet either, I'm in the hangar but can't go over to the terminals. Lots of fun though, plenty of noise to make any aircraft enthusiast happy!
