Its got standard suspension on it at the moment, dont want to ruin the handling by lowering it.To lower or not to lower? |

defantly go lower suit the 306 very well and go for 60mm all the way ________________________________________ "Police arrested two kids yesterday, one was drinking battery acid, the other was eating fireworks. They charged one and let the other one off." |

i did with cyclones on , but with 16,s /17,s had no real worrys at all , lowered my gti 6 and rallye 60mm! well the gti6 wos lower as i had coilovers, just bought some 50mm springs for the type R________________________________________ "Police arrested two kids yesterday, one was drinking battery acid, the other was eating fireworks. If you aren't sure i'd spend the money on refreshing the old for Peugeot new, especially the dampers. If you have to go max 35 on the front, 20 on the rear with some decent springs. I would get new dampers as well. If you have a fair bit of dosh kicking about i'd highly recommend the AST Sportline 1 kit and a Pendulum/SPOOX/Ash hybrid rear ARB. Lowering will give you more grip on nice smooth surfaces, but for handling and everyday driveability don't go below 35mm. ________________________________________ Nothing to see here |

Mines 30mm all round, handles very well and doesnt look OTT.________________________________________ Ex Astor 6 ownerAlso an Ex owner of a Bianca 6 Now an ex owner of a 2005 9-3 2.0T 210bhp Aero Swedish Saloon thing!! 30mm is what i was thinking, ive heard of people regreting lowering cars so thought i'd get some opinions first.Think i'll go 30mm.... |

I've gone higher ________________________________________ - Bespoke rollcages/additions/adjustments. Half cages right up to complete custom spaceframes - MSA/FIA spec, CDS, ROPT, T45, etc - PM meEmail me! I just snapped a spring so gonna replace all suspension to be sure as Ive not had the car long and its on 83k. Im having the same dilemma choosing what route to go, has anyone on here tried the bilstein suspension on ebay? Think its the b4 make, black dampers red springs |

Snapping springs is quite common. Have a search for B4 as i'm aure they'll have been covered/rated on here. I would budget for new beam mounts, wishbone bushes and top mounts whilst you are at it________________________________________ Nothing to see here |
