you don't want anything bigger than the standard if you only want one TBperhaps you can modify it a bit as they did on the touring cars, but that's all! ________________________________________ VTSbest 60' : 2.272 best 1/8 ET : 9.375 @ 74.42mph best 1/4 ET: 14.603 @ 97.047mph Team Trackday™ |

Problem will be the manifold design, it narrows after TB and can't really be opened up without welding/modifying it to take a larger throttle body flange. It could be done but the next thing will be the runners themselves will be restrictive. Darrelspeed has a set of ITBs for sale, get saving the pennies for tham instead. ________________________________________ R H Davey Welding Supplies. Even at 300bhp+ you'll only lose 2-3 horsies because of the size of it...Hell, even at 400bhp you'd only be down 5-6bhp over an appropriately sized one. ________________________________________ - Bespoke rollcages/additions/adjustments. If you really needed to you could get 1100bhp on the stock throttle body (fag packet calcs. to the rescue again) ________________________________________ - Bespoke rollcages/additions/adjustments. Admittedly, by that point, you'd gain 280bhp by changing the throttle body You're not going for 1100bhp then Wayne? Just under? ________________________________________ - Bespoke rollcages/additions/adjustments. Half cages right up to complete custom spaceframes - MSA/FIA spec, CDS, ROPT, T45, etc - PM meEmail me! Might be time to move from Avon ZV3s to something like Paradas with that kind of power. I did find that a slightly bored and smoothed standard TB did give a quicker throttle response. ________________________________________ Nothing to see here |

It always will, you're altering how much the throttle opens vs pedal movement at low speeds - you could get the exact same effect by simply changing the thottle linkage tbh.________________________________________ - Bespoke rollcages/additions/adjustments.
