Looking good Martin. Keep us posted.

Be lucky to find any straight SEAT ones Pete, I sold my spare ones for £400 each I think... Can still get them from SEAT Sport in Spain, but they are circa £1000 each.

Yeah, I think that's why he's keen to shift his AP setup, GLWTS Martin.

I had considered fabricating some uprights and I might have done if I'd seen the Seat ones although I had looked at the ones on my mates Super Cupra and I thought they were cast Aluminium but they might have been different on the later cars.
I have finished the prototype upright and had it fitted to my car but in all honesty it looks shit because all it is at the moment is a block of aluminium with the strut mounting, wheel bearing diameter and bottom ball joint features machined into it. They'll only start looking good when we start taking some mass off on the CNC miller.
Fitting this has allowed me to design all the rest of of the stuff I was unsure about and after finding myself in a bit of a rut with the project because of all the work I needed to do on the front end,I'm now encouraged because everything is working out so well.
I've now finalised designs for the wishbones, blade type ARB,Steering arms and strut bodies.
I ordered the HE15 Aluminium for 10off uprights today which should arrive early next week and the material arrived yesterday for my wishbones.
So now I've got to find time to make all this stuff at work, normally I make stuff for my car outside our working hours but as we've got people wanting uprights I wont feel bad about doing them in works time.
The brakes I've bought are some used 332mm floating rotors and mounting bobbins which just need a light grind to look like new again and some secondhand unused sixpot AP's. They will need adapting to my set-up but the discs are gonna look ace mated to my titanium drive flanges with a narrow anodised bell in between.
So, as soon as I've got owt I'm proud of I'll post the pics of it.
Cheers Martin

That guy is running Ash's 30mm ARB, Solid Mounts & 23mm Torsion Bars & some adjustments on the camber. Admittedly, the guy is an awesome driver, but it just go's to show how well these cars can handle with the right modification's
