Mab? see if it was a boost leak... would it be doing it all the time?

or intermittently?

i have an idle issue, similar before and after my rebuild/refurb work

Ahh right i see.

I can only suggest you maybe have a leak in the pipework, check over all the pipes and joints.

I cant see it affecting it, my engine is realy the same as yours now and mine runs fine with the old map, if you still have all the same things as you did before, boost ring and injectors then it shudnt make a diff.

Good seal on the TB ? plenty of sealant on the boost ring holder ?

The little restrictor ring that sits inbetween the Tb and the charger itself.

Ok so i dont know what to do, ive got £350 quid in my paypal, im either going to transfer to bank and use for remap, or by plastic windows or maybe but some carbon fibre interior bits, what you guys reckon?

For winter my job will be to:

Fit swirlpot/injectors/pump (then remap)

Refurb my spare beam and fit the bigger torsion and arb bar i have for it.

Re paint all callipers and fit new front pads

Then start loosing wait on interior with the grinder and large drill i think, and some wiring.

Then once thats done i will start on my gti6, which is still not started!
