Cool Big grin Good job mate, you seriously need a better camera though, doing it on your phone just does'nt do it justice.

Progress has moved on a little since Dave last updated. Dave and Chris have been pretty busy over the last few weeks and the engine bay is resprayed, the engine itself is almost back together and pending the arrival of parts from Peugeot the head can go on and be torqued up and the cams timed in.

Obviously Dave is pleased! LOL

Block has been painted a lovely metallic black Cool

I cant beleive he not been on to update this yet.

But we spent thursday afternoon and evening and last night getting the engine in.

It fired last night and sounded so good.

Only had 2 problems, one was the earths, where dave had painted the engine bay they earths didnt contact properly so after they where scrapped clean car fired.

Also for some reason the fuel pump wouldnt prime, after a quick call to davey boy he suggested running a live to the pump wich we did then the pump jumped into life, and primes with out the live feed now.

Bloody french cars lol.

Just off to his workshop now to finish off. hpefully the car will be on the ground today ready to go

UPDATE
well as chris said its a runner it sounds awesomme even running on the stock e.c.u i am dead chuffedBig grin
its amazing how much money can get piled into these projects i spent near on 250 quid today on the last few things to get the car dropped on the floor and im not gonna bother adding up the total spent as its gonna be loads.
so tomorrow the car will be finished and i think a road test is in order Unsure
this project like many will be ongoing as loads more stuff is going to be fitted and uprated but as funds are low its time to run her in and have some fun.
i could never have done this on my own so a big thanks to all you members who awnsered my silly posts and pointed me in the right direction.
and a thanks to
miles
rich w
daveyboy
and anyone else who helped me
and especially chris as he pretty much done all of this with me cheers bro Wink
