does the standard immobliser still work with unlocked ecu's?

No - the main purpose of unlocking them is to remove the immobiliser.

is it possible to pre-map an ecu using a template kind of thing?
i have a magnex cat-back and an induction kit, didnt know if you could do anything around these or do you have to have the car to play around with? i have already got one of your ecu's from a while ago if that makes a difference

Hi mate,

I'm afraid not, I don't have a map on file for that particular setup.

TBH, you don't stand to gain much unless you take your mods further with cams or something.

The standard ECU is very refined, hence why Superchips and the like do fook all.

As welshpug mentioned above I would be interested if you could unlock a 406 V6 ecu, running bosch MP7.0 management.

Let me know if its possible Big grin

Nice to see you on here matey!

Rich, would it be simple (ie cheap) to increase the rpm limit then? Mine won't gain from it due to the cam advance, but I know someone who will be interested

Yes, it's fairly easily done.

I need to get Wayne to do it - I don't have the knowledge to find the RPM limit within the BIN file.

To confuse matters, the RPM limit is in different locations, and the width of it in 'bits' can vary depending on the software version, which is why Wayne needs to do it.

Can get it done if required though.

Price I would need to confirm with Wayne, probably
