Well, i've got it home now, and just doing the last few bits to it. I started putting the new vinyl on it this week after work, and i can now see why people charge so much to wrap cars At least it's only a race car so i'm not too fussed how it looks close up, but the rear arch i have done is pretty horrendous where it curves round at the edge. But oh well got to start somewhere. I've also changed over the knackered coolant hoses that were on it to some silicon ones, although they did take f*cking 7 weeks to deliver, and not the 5 days they said they'd take :rant Old: New: Fitted: Start of the wrapping: ________________________________________ Seat Leon Cupra FR / 306 GTI6 / Breaking 205 GTI6 / Caterham 7 / Mercedes Sprinter 311CDI LWB Sold: Fisher Fury - Laguna DCI Estate - P1 306 XSI - E30 BMW 325i Baur Convertible - Daihatsu Fourtack - Suzuki GSXR600 - 205 Rallye |

roland rat wrote: Boo! thats not the spongebob livery! That would have been a real pain in the arse to do, as i'd have to find the exact same yellow colour vinyl that the spongebob print was on. Also wouldn't be all that noticable i don't think with the grills on the bonnet. ________________________________________ Seat Leon Cupra FR / 306 GTI6 / Breaking 205 GTI6 / Caterham 7 / Mercedes Sprinter 311CDI LWB Sold: Fisher Fury - Laguna DCI Estate - P1 306 XSI - E30 BMW 325i Baur Convertible - Daihatsu Fourtack - Suzuki GSXR600 - 205 Rallye |

Well i've been continuing on this when i get a chance. Most of it is now wrapped, just the nose cone and bonnet to go now (which may end up getting painted). The arches will probably just stay black now, as thats how they come when you have to replace them from damage. The back all done. The green is quite a lot brighter than it shows in the picture I had to make a plate to cover the large hole left after i cut out all the bend ali around the exhaust manifold after a previous accident Dash all wired up and working (except the gear indicator as i reflashed it by accident and haven't reloaded the gear ratio's ) ________________________________________ Seat Leon Cupra FR / 306 GTI6 / Breaking 205 GTI6 / Caterham 7 / Mercedes Sprinter 311CDI LWB Sold: Fisher Fury - Laguna DCI Estate - P1 306 XSI - E30 BMW 325i Baur Convertible - Daihatsu Fourtack - Suzuki GSXR600 - 205 Rallye |

It doesn't fit, the bore is too small, i was going to sling them on it over the weekend as a mate took my wheels to snett to have some new a048's fitted, instead i've just nabbed another set of his race wheels.________________________________________ Seat Leon Cupra FR / 306 GTI6 / Breaking 205 GTI6 / Caterham 7 / Mercedes Sprinter 311CDI LWB Sold: Fisher Fury - Laguna DCI Estate - P1 306 XSI - E30 BMW 325i Baur Convertible - Daihatsu Fourtack - Suzuki GSXR600 - 205 Rallye |

1600 Carl, think they're about 0-60 in round about 5 seconds, but it really doesn't matter, as i'll only be racing against identical cars, should be a good laugh though.________________________________________ Seat Leon Cupra FR / 306 GTI6 / Breaking 205 GTI6 / Caterham 7 / Mercedes Sprinter 311CDI LWB Sold: Fisher Fury - Laguna DCI Estate - P1 306 XSI - E30 BMW 325i Baur Convertible - Daihatsu Fourtack - Suzuki GSXR600 - 205 Rallye |

Haven't done much on this recently, but i did end up paying a company to wrap the bonnet and nose cone for me as it turned out i had the wrong vinyl. The proper vinyl was much more expensive, so rather than buy some and then screw it up again i thought it best just to get it done properly. So i got those back the other day, i fitted the stripe to them and then put the fixings back on, before mounting them back on the car: ________________________________________ Seat Leon Cupra FR / 306 GTI6 / Breaking 205 GTI6 / Caterham 7 / Mercedes Sprinter 311CDI LWB Sold: Fisher Fury - Laguna DCI Estate - P1 306 XSI - E30 BMW 325i Baur Convertible - Daihatsu Fourtack - Suzuki GSXR600 - 205 Rallye |

I get a number of free tickets, but otherwise it's normally a fiver or 10 quid entry. We normally have a pot of tickets in the grads area in the paddock, and just ask anybody who uses one to chuck a couple of quid in the TCT (club charity) tin.________________________________________ Seat Leon Cupra FR / 306 GTI6 / Breaking 205 GTI6 / Caterham 7 / Mercedes Sprinter 311CDI LWB Sold: Fisher Fury - Laguna DCI Estate - P1 306 XSI - E30 BMW 325i Baur Convertible - Daihatsu Fourtack - Suzuki GSXR600 - 205 Rallye |
