Well finally got round to fitting my recaro sport seats, i ordered the recaro sub frames which took forever to arrive from germany and i instantly felt ripped off as all i got was this:

But i needed to replace the seats as they had a nice cooling patch in the crotch area and side bolster Roll eyes

Heres how they look, cars a state at the moment so will give it a scrub and take some better pics when i get a chance.

Seats are much more supportive than the p3 ones. they aren't any lower than standard which is a bit of a pain, but its not a major issue as i can just about fit in with my lid onCool

They look really good. Cool

Do they tilt and slide like the standard seats?

What seats are they and where did you get them from, if you don't mind me asking?

They tilt but don't slide forward when you tilt them.

They have electric height adjustment and a little inflator bag thing to pump up the 2 way lumbar adjustment. also have an adjustable thigh support.

I got them from a mate who had them in his colt which now has 4kg buckets in.

They were originally fitted to an Ascari K10

Do you happen to know the name of the seats?

Also, did you ever find a solution to the flashing air bag light?

These are recaro sport, an older model, same as the current recaro sport sportline/trendline/topline

Airbag light doesn't flash anymore but the side airbag light is fully on, am thinking i will just take the bulb out when i get a spare few minutes.

having the bulb on constant is a lot less distracting than it flashing so i'm ok with it for now.

Fair enough, cheers for the info. Thumbs up

I've never really liked the look of most of the aftermarket seats that are available. These on the other hand look awesome, almost look as if they were a factory fit IMO. Cool

I can reccomend mk1 impreza seats for holding you in and comfort. Various colours take your pic, cheap on ebay. Just need to fit them right

They wouldn't tilt forwards to allow access to the rear would they? Nice idea tho, they are cheap as chipsSmile

I have very similar recaro seats in the Accord and they are very very comfy. Good choice, they look spot on.

I'm not sure, but there were extra bolt holes on the sub frames i ordered so i'd guess so.

i looked at these in the new demon tweeks brochure a while back and thought they would look nice in a 6 and you have just fitted them in yours .....and they do look very nice almost as though they should have been in there in the first place. 650 each is a bit steep though you got yourself a bargain

they look ace, im thinkin of getting some buckets too but want them to match the rest of the interior like yours do. Would ideally like the seats to sit a bit lower though.
