Did the recaro seat rails bolt straight up to the floor pan without need for welding anything? Are the seats still positioned correctly ie. centre of the steering wheel?I'm trying to find a trouble free solution to bolting buckets in because i really dont want to be f*cking around welding seat rails and have them not centralise correctly and all that. Nice seats btw. |

Seat rails fitted in to the existing bolt holes as they were purposely designed for the car, hence costing a bomb from Recaro! As for where to get a set i wouldn't know really, one day they will be up for sale but i'm not sure i could go back to standard as I will be keeping the car for a while longer yet. ________________________________________ Renault Megane Renaultsport 230 F1 Team R26 |

stu wrote: Fair enough, cheers for the info. I've never really liked the look of most of the aftermarket seats that are available. These on the other hand look awesome, almost look as if they were a factory fit IMO. +2 just look at em ________________________________________ andrew315rawson@live.co.ukMoonstone phase 7 gti6 My Project thread: http://www.306gti6.com/forum/showthread.php?id=119992&page=1 |

Still for sale, not sure on the weight but they are a bit more than the standard ones as they have electric height adjustment. As for whether they would fit a 406 I'd not be in a position to say.________________________________________ Renault Megane Renaultsport 230 F1 Team R26 |
