Got fluid in the drivers footwell, is sweet to taste.

Windows steaming up too, so reckon the heater matrix has gone.

I've got Aircon, is it any harder to change with A/C ?

Also, how do you get the matrix pipes off from the engine bay side ?

My heater matrix or at least some part of the cooling system has a small leak. There was a small amount if coolant in the passenger footwell after a long drive. Nothing leaks when stood. Not put heater on as I don't want it to make it worse.

Just wondering if it gets worse can I just pull the two pipes out of the bulkhead and join them up in the engine bay? I don't need the heater.

epic bumpage lol!

safest thing to do is to get a short piece of hose, roughly 15 i.d around 200mm long and take the heater pipes off at the engine end, loop them around and re-bleed the system.

putting the heater on or off will not affect it as coolant flows around it all the time, not like a renfault or frod that have valves.

when mine went on my 205 all i did was pull of the in and out pipe on the bulkhead, joined them by inserting a piece of copper pipe and tightened them with a couple of jubilee clips

can't do that with a 306 due to the rigid plastic pipes.
