Mine have tapered bolt holes and use the correct c5 bolts with spinning tapers. |

all 4 wheels here and at the end it stopped at around 100GBP (for the 4) These still amaze me!!!! you should have seen the bloke's face who grabbed one and nearly did a backflip at the weekend I'm gonna clean them, and if it's needed I'll apply a thin coat of paint! (weight matters ) Then it's time for the 200/560 15' Matador D11 Slicks Btw it's still not clear what kind of bolts can I use with them? it seems like the original Xsara bolts will be fine, but it can happen that I'm wrong! ________________________________________ VTSbest 60' : 2.272 best 1/8 ET : 9.375 @ 74.42mph best 1/4 ET: 14.603 @ 97.047mph Team Trackday™ |

For the c5 alloy/steel type wheels with tapers - use the proper c5 wheel bolts with spinning tapers and holes in middle(very light), or risk using normal bolts that will wear into the soft wheels. I have a c5 chassis number at work for anyone strugglin to find the corrct bolts. |

Well, the wheels are not yet on the car, because I only have 2 new slicks, awaiting for the other two to arrive. Then I'll have them tires fitted, and the wheels will go on. (on the first trackday) Anyway, I refurbed them in gloss black and they look really good! The bolt issue is solved, as I managed to source a C5 wheel fitting kit from Citroen at the price of 24GBP. This is the kit: (pic stolen from the Saxo sports club site, as I binned the not necessary packaging right after I got it ) on a side note: Citroen wanted 3.8GBP/bolt (60GBP for all the 16 bolts), but I refused to pay that much. Two days later I came back with the fitting kit's part number. When it arrived even their staff laughed hard at the price. I'm gonna make a picture soon of my wheels! Well.. it still has the original 2.5 block and heads as I don't want to molest an engine which is working like a charm! it's only done 22k miles! And Litchfield has some very tasty stuff! Wouldn't mind one of their suspension kits , and I may consider their own twin scroll turbo - this will be a toss up between that and the Element Tuning Garrett GT52 ________________________________________ VTSbest 60' : 2.272 best 1/8 ET : 9.375 @ 74.42mph best 1/4 ET: 14.603 @ 97.047mph Team Trackday™ |

I've always quite fancied a legacy turbo estate (the series 1) with a cosworth lump and the later spec suspension. Could be very amusing indeed!________________________________________ Nothing to see here |
