You could be trawling the search results for hours in order to find that.

I'm not worried yet as I've bought them with a 22mm pin, not a 20mm pin.

Someone randomly joined the thread and said he had to get the little end re bushed but matty rallye said he had not had a problem.

I am considering getting the little ends re bushed to be safe.
Or I might wait to see how zac fairs with them. Sorry zac LOL

Edit* beaten to it

mattys rods are fine, the only thing is that they were listed as 20mm so he questioned it and they measured them and there 22mm

I wish I had the time & money to rebuild an engine completely. I'd love to build something along the lines of Dixon's XU7 (only with a 6 head) to go into a 205/309.

Er reading the word 'Chinese' in this thread is starting to make me worry Unsure Although they have come on leaps and bounds over there the engineering side of things still leaves a lot to be desired Yes

Tom,

Yours are a 22mm pin aren't they?

Did they come from PEC [the distributor for Wossner]?

If so, they are probably the Chinese rods as sold by Maxspeedingrods and a few other places. PEC sell these as they're own brand too.

The actual genuine Wossner rods only come with a 20mm pin, and aren't available in 22mm.

What actually happened to yours? Did a rod break, or was it the gudgeon pin?

Rod snapped in half, we had them machined out if i remember as were not right size to begin with, you could be right and i had a cheaper brand. Wont be doing that again. We used arp bolts and they were fine. Mine are 22mm.

Odd thing was it blew when just cruising at 60mph, very od. Never mind should be back in a month or so.
