Hi guys,I'm Dragoon and I come from Belgium.

My current ride and project is a 306 Francorchamps-edition with a 1.8l 16v under the bonnet.

My former and first car was also a 306 (a slow 1.4l 8v)(SOLD!) and thats the car that started my love for the 306 (and actually all Peugeots)
And i also own a 106 1.1l 8v as back-up car(currently for sale)

So actually I wanted a 6, but these are quite rare in belgium (or a total wreck...) and also the insurance was a problem... (you cant get an insurance for a car with more than 100kw if you're below 26, and i'm 21) so I wound up buying a 1.8 16v. A limited francorchamps edition (sadly not numbered Sad )

First thing op was a nice set of winterwheels (the former owner wrecked the cyclones :anrgy )
So i fitted a pair of 406Coup

Looks good, with modifications who actually checks to see if you have done any, police? If they have been done and you get caught what happens?

We have to go to a technical inspection every year (i think that's MOT in the UK?)
so the only 'performance related' things that may be changed is a replacement air filter and a sport exhaust with the necessary certificates (such as a devil/supersprint)
We aren't allowed to place better brakes(e.g. 406coup

Gti 6 exhaust manifold is a definite improvement and the cylinder head from a 2.0 litre 16v has better porting. The inlet manifold is another improvement but obvious as soon as you open the bonnet. Dixons race car is a 1.8 and has mega power. The 6 gearbox has little benefit on the 1.8. Good luck and welcome.

thx, that's some ace info!
Do you mean the cylinder head from a 2.0xsi? (135hp) or one from a 6 ?
And any idea if the inlet manifold is a perfect fit, or does it require some mods? (same question for the exhaust manifold)

i'll check dixons car as well!

hmmm I seem to have forgotten to update this thread Shock a lot has changed since my first post..

well, in April some prick with a van decided to drive through the red light, resulting in me trying to avoid him but it was too late, so hit hit with the right-front-side and got dragged with him several feet, due to being stuck underneath his rear wheels..

internal damage was far worse than it looks like...

decided to make the car like new, and got this after 3 months:

a detailpic of the colour, lets call it 'Astor with a twist'

we also used a special type of varnish which makes the paint virtually scratch-resistant.

Then for the winter I got myself a mint set of cyclones, fitted with 4 P6000 ditchfinders (seemed a good idea at the time Doh )
Luckily I got them for a bargain price.

Also found a set of these:

for next summer Cool (but they'll get a refurb first)

And the last bit for the moment, I'm currently working on a 6 exhaust manifold:

(hopefully not missing anything out here...)

This is going to be combined with a devil decat, devil centre section and devil backbox (2.5" if I'm not mistaken)

And pray that I wont get any problems with the decat and the fact I have 2 lambdas
Confused

thanks for the nice comments Big grin
The whole package has cost me about the price of a new car Blink (and still counting Erm? )

The first set: 17" (anthracite, polished lip) are TSW catalunya's, very hard to find in 4*108 & ET15 so I'm keeping them as well (together with 5 other sets LOL )
Can't decide which I like most tbh...

thanks!

and the badge, thats a story on it's own..

With the car getting a full respray, I had to look out for new badges (because I love these), the local garage said: contact peugeot belgium, they said: not available anymore, contacted peugeot france: 'only made in limited amount, none in stock anymore' so I was well gutted.

Finally agreed with my bodyshop to integrate my badges in the paint (luckily the badges had NO damage) and he did a VERY fine job on that:
