Pictures.... here is what i started with ripped window tints out, exhuast system, wheels are now cyclones. rear lights comeing out and phase 2 lights going in and de wiper the back. pulled it into my unit and started stripping it down, was a perfectly good car! Ran, tested. just no tax. couple hours late, few cuts and bruises and plenty of drinks.. we then set about fitting the new engine but hit a problem strait away, due to the T3 turbo looking over the top of the engine, it right on the brake servo. so set about drilling the spot welds out of the top engine mount and the gear box mount and moved the engine forward 1" after its been moved top mount after moveing gear box mount, bolted and welded. engine was then put into place lovely fit few other tweaks and some more bruising! and was in place and bolted up in place. was time to fire the engine see if it ran, and find some cables to start wireing up found the ones we needed and got a quick video, first time engine had been fired for 1 months! running quite rough but no sensors on or anything... http://s175.photobucket.com/albums/w124/dane-katie/?action=view¤t=Video001.flv then it was time to get the hard bit done... days later i had all the cooler pipe work done, oil cooler fitted, all rad plumbed in and then started on some more parts.... exhaust was fitted full custom system yesterday this is how she sounded http://s175.photobucket.com/albums/w124/dane-katie/?action=view¤t=Dane003.flv currently driveable, but need to get it onto the wideband as seems to be running a little rough. Chances are its due to a small air leak some where in the system! Plus its got a bigger turbo, custom manifold and still on standard management. Need to get it on standalone, mapped and on the wideband to see how its fueling. il get it updated again soon as i can ________________________________________ Distinct FinishHigh Quality Valeting and Detailing Based in sheffield Member discount available PM For details |
