My little bro is worse Sad 'Lyk; is a silly one though as the actual word 'like' only has 1 more letter so it's not like it's saving masses of time Laugh

i'm hoping 200-250bhp should make up for ir not being a gti-6 engine, the 6speed box goes on aswell, i could get another 6 engine but i want the turbo sound and theres only 1 other 306 turbo arround here.

i nearly bought a 406 turbo a while back.
i test drove it thought it was crap, and when i parked it back up after testing it i popped the bonnet and noticed the brand new oil had turned to cream!! oh well lesson to seller is never let someone test drive on there own!!
it wasnt even fast at the begining and i think i can recall it went proper sluggish halfway thru.

the turbo engine will probably make the 306 quite nippy but i think the 6 engine is nippier(correct me if im wrong).
i dont think its a very solid engine tho m8, but if you go ahead with it it would be interesting too see and good luck!!

cheers for the comments guys, i know the gti-6 is a fast and tuneable engine, but i have the turbo lump there and it aint gonna cost me much to get done, i love turbo sounds and it will defo turn heads. the engines from what i hear are pretty strong but people turn the boost up and forget about fueling and other issues, i've looked at a few things that can be done to the engine and then get it re-mapped. i have a freind with a nos kit, not sure if it would blow the engine up but thats in the future.
most of you agree that the standard look is good?

The standard look is best.Looks very nice.Ninja
As for engines,i dont know much about them. But if you reckon is easy enough for you to fit it and tune up then go for it.Should be very interesting.I too like the sound of turbo'd engines!

dunno why people are saying they're a weak engine, its the same bottom end as th gti6 LOL

should be able to get it fairly near to 200 bhp as it is without spending a great deal.
