If the cambelt cover is too close you can reangle the master cylinder using washers behind it, had to do this on my Mi16. Seems a better idea to me than cutting the cover. ________________________________________ Pics of my 6My 6 on Google Video thanks to coxy306Xsi |

Space the whole master cylinder out at the bottom. Undo the nuts under the dash, then pack up the pedal box with some washers so it angles the whole lot up________________________________________ 1990 Cherry Red 205 Gti-62000 Mitsubishi Galant V6 |

You just know you will end up putting your s/c'd engine in the 205 Looks really good mate. Wish i had the time/knowledge/funds to pay that much attention to detail to mine. Keep it up On a side note, you just now alot of the 'purists' out there would rather you'd have done this to the original 1.9 engine. I think you made the right choice though. Also, what effect will putting a 6 engine in it have on the handling? Surely it will understeer more? |

Yes a few purists where upset but i could have taken it out and crashed it, so its not a total loss it will just be a nice 205 with a six engine in it.I dont know about the handling characteristics once this has been done, there are plenty of them out there now so i cant see it being that bad. I find the handling on mine pretty good , i have 309 wishbones and shafts on the front with a standard rear end + Gaz adjustables, the turn in is superb but can get abit twitchy mid corner , no worse than a standard one really, just keep your boot in and you will be fine .________________________________________ 205 GTi-6 = 179.2 Bhp @ 6650Rpm - SOLDSeat Leon Cupra R 225 |

I dont have any at the moment, its is looking abit tatty at the moment under there though as im moving in the process of tidying it all up.You planning on using a 306 PAS bottle or the 205 one?? Apparently the 306 one fits in quite nicely ________________________________________ 205 GTi-6 = 179.2 Bhp @ 6650Rpm - SOLDSeat Leon Cupra R 225 |

No underbonnet pics sorry, its not much to look at really atm, slowly getting it all sorted now though. How are you routing your air filter? straight on the tb or feeding it down underneath?________________________________________ 205 GTi-6 = 179.2 Bhp @ 6650Rpm - SOLDSeat Leon Cupra R 225 |

I have not really done a great deal to this but i have put the gearbox back together sealed it all up and mated it to the engine-Also got the subframe back from the powder coaters and it looks great, had the antiroll bar and brackets done too- Just got to do a few little bits now to finish the engine off and get the engine bay painted. Lookin good mate, it will be a very nice lookin engine bay when its done. Im suprised you didnt put a 309 front anti roll bar in while you were going to this extent, its a nice upgrade for the front end |
