I had a new radiator fitted recently, after the guy installed it a stop light appeared on my dash, the temps are normal when I drive [90 when warmed up] so do you think this is most likely just a sensor issue? Thanks. |

Is it the far right one on this diagram?diagram Also would it be ok to disconnect all three of these sensors on that section to check them? |

The blue one is the one to check and it would be okay to disconnect the others to check them also.________________________________________ Saxo 1.5d - Daily driver![]() Westfield SEi - Weekend warrior ![]() Places to buy parts/spares FAQ Don't miss out on those e-bay items again. Combidrive Ltd |

you would probably get an air lock in the system if you took them out I would think ![]() surely they are only temp sensors not level checks? Did phase 2 cars have an extra sensor on the rad? Mine has a blanking plate near the bleed point ![]() |

justinaccurate wrote: you would probably get an air lock in the system if you took them out I would think ![]() It's been two years and I've still not checked the sensors, a combination of procrastination and not really using the car. So, would it be ok to remove the blue sensor without getting an airlock? The warning light came on after a mechanic changed the radiator over two years ago. ![]() |
