Mine has snapped and i believe its the older type (goes over the top of radiator)

now can i still buy the old type from pug or will i have to convert to new shorter one that goes over the engine.

If i have to swap to a newer one do i need to buy any new clips/mounts etc? and ow hard is it to feed it though the bulkhead etc?

thanks

They are a universal kit so you can do either.

Easiest thing to do is buy the new cable and just remove the centre, then thread in the new centre and cut where needed, add the nipple and job done, should take no more than 10 minutes to do and means you dont have to wrestle putting the new sleave in the bulk head. Make sure your cutters are sharp or its a pain to get the nipple on with a frayed wire.

Another tip brought to you from Mechanical_repairs.

I always find that if I wind electrical tape a couple of times around where I need to cut, this helps give a better cut and keeps the strands from getting dammaged.
