I went through the hassle of my electric window doing something that sounded like exploding in the door. With a bit of effort I managed to fix it myself for very low cost.

Basically I thought I’d put up what I’ve learnt to help anyone who needs it.
Sorry I don’t have any pics of the process but I diid this a long while ago

What had happened to me was whilst I was moving the window the green runner shattered and the window fell off the guide bracket.

WARNING - If the window does fall and you hear a crunching sound, don't try to press the window switch anymore and the regulator may be still be useable!

The repair process was as follows:

1) Went to Peugeot and bought the mounting kit (only a couple of quid) which consisted of:
• Green Runner
• Gray Bung with spring clip
• Grey Plastic Guide Clip

NOTE: You may not have to do this if you can find one intact from a breakers

2) As I needed to replace the Regulator motor because the cables had become out of sync and tangled (the Guide Bracket, Motor Cables and Regulator are all one unit) I went to the breakers and found one from another 3 door (any should do IIRC I think I used a P1 unit).
NOTE: Stay away from pug they charge obscene money for this part

3) Remove the door cards and old motor (I would describe this but it’s a while since I did the job so might not be accurate)
I believe there were 3 bolts holding the regulator and 2 more holding the guide bracket, will be rivets that need drilling if the unit hasn't been removed before.

4) Refit the new green runner into the bracket if needed (this I cannot remember in the slightest how to do)

5) Once everything is out including the window fix in the new motor in the words of Haynes ‘refitting is a reversal of removal’

6) Now put the Grey Plastic Guide clip into the vertical rubber seal at the back end of the door. (The clip clips into the hole on the edge of the glass to guide it up and down the door.)

7) Slide the window into the door then push it onto the Guide Clip

8) Then put the Grey Bung through the hole at the bottom of the glass from the inner side of the window.

9) The Green runner pushes through the Bung then the spring clip pushes through holes in the bung to hold it in place

10) Ensure the window is lined up with all the guides in the door and your good to go
