Anyone got any tips for getting the Valeo ones apart?! Mine went from rare to medium to well done, and the adhesive still wouldn't budge. There are little plastic clips instead of the metal one, and you can't unclip them Unsure

I had to get a hot air gun onto mine, I had plastic clips too and it was mega hard to get the adhesive undone. Ballache to the max, they are still reverse engineered in my locker at work.

has anyone tried this on phase 2 headlights (non-crystal ones)? I'm very tempted, but it might look poor being plain.

I've done exactly the same, the buggers still won't come apart. I've broken a plastic clip whilst loosing my patience with the damn things Angry Dry

I think the Valeo crystal lights are a hell of a lot better put together than the Depo knock offs, so getting them apart is naturally going to be that much harder.

Still trying to get some ideas together on how to get them apart, I won't let it beat me Dry

Reckon it will still look pretty smart... there is still an unused shiny bit inside- just harder to see with the lens being on the glass.

My sister's old P1 light's shiny bit has gone black through rust and looks much improved!

Perhaps the valeo ones use a different type of sealant then....?

They are quite hard to get apart but once you get a screwdriver inside they should budge...?

Pictures of the Valeos anyway please!
