If your boot has gone a good sign is the inside of your rims looking like the inside of your underpants after a good night out.Covered in greasy shite. SO go to pug and buy a new boot kit containing a new boot, new grease, new clips and a new ring piece And some new Gearbox fluid Welly has attached the following image: ________________________________________ Life is a lie. Once thats cleaned up slip it backwards to allow you to do the next bit.You will need to tap the Joint off the splines. It will come off but you will need to tap and turn, it needs to come off evenly. so TAP AND TURN Welly has attached the following image: ________________________________________ Life is a lie. Now you need to put the joint back on.Best thing to do it to spin the nut back on, and hit it with a hammer till it goes over the ring. The ring has a tendency to want to jump out so be carefull at first. You can add a tie wrap to keep it under tension and when the joint moves into place just cut it off. The nut will stop you from shagging the threads Welly has attached the following image: ________________________________________ Life is a lie. The only certainty of which is death. This should be FAQ'd before it gets lost please Admin. ________________________________________ Although it's no longer available new, it's worth trying to get hold of a good example second-hand. quote: The one Welly has is the genuine Pug one. You need a special tool to do the clips up. The CV boots from factors come with clips that you don't need tools for.
