1. Jack up the car using the proper jacking point.
2. Remove fron wheel.
3. remove inner arch. There are 2 screws holding the inner arch (shown in the pic) and about 3-4 plastic things. Big grin

There are two sections to the inner arch which you will probably need to take off. Its a bit difficult to get the old air box out if you dont. These are roughly the shape of the red boxes

4.plastic shield connected to it and engine undertray. When removing the plastic shield there should be only 1 torx screw that needs to be done which is towards the front of the car.
The undertray has two plastic things either side which turn and pull out and three bolts.

5. remove pipe connected to battery tray, This just pulls out from the tray and from what it is connected to next to the rad.

6. Remove the engine air intake and breather pipe by loosening jubile clips. The breather pipes can be a bit difficult to get off, so a lil screwdriver persuasion may be nessecary.

7. Remove the air scoop mounted just above the rad (the bit that pulls the air down to the filter). This only has one torx screw

8. find all the bolts holding the old airbox in and remove them. some are a bit tricky to get to and to find, but there should be three of them.

9. CAREFULLY remove air box from under the car making sure you dont break the rad whilst doing so. (A friend comes in handy hear to guide it from above)

10. Build the K&N filter using the supplied arm and attach it to the intake pipe which needs to be taken from the old airbox first.

11. CAREFULLY raise the filter and pipes in from below again guiding it up the engine. Then reattach the intake and breather pipe to the manifold

12. You then need to bolt the arm off the filter on to the gearbox. This bolt will probably be very close to where the arm is when you put the filter in

13. In this case i have chosen to use the original air scoop and wedge one of the breather pipes you get with the kit into it. It allows you to direct the air directly on to the filter once the pipe is cut to size.
When cutting the pipe you can pull off the plastic ends and reattach them once cut to the correct length (I took off about 20-30 cm).
