ive just adjusted my rear compensator....

the small spring on the adjuster rod was not fully compressed so it was making my brake pedal spongey.

ive added enough preload so the small spring is fully compressed now, and another 1-2mm of preload on the larger spring...

pedal no longer spongey.....yay

ive had a trawl through here.....i couldnt find a number.....only redneck wet carpark testing or taking it to an mot centre brake bias tester machine with trial and error adjusting the rod.
but is there a set amount of desired preload for this spring?

TIA

jim
