I think they only run at half a bar of oil pressure, there should be a plug there.. If you've got a oil pressure gauge then it shouldn't matter but don't quote me on it. Welshpug will have more info about it. ________________________________________ C. Hughes |

Where abouts on the engine was it?There should be one just above where the heat exchanger sits, I believe thats for the low pressure light and it should have a plug from the loom on it. Off to the right of this (just left of where the small breather pipe goes into the block) theres a port which i've found on some previous engines has had a sensor in it's place to seal it but no connector should go to this one. ________________________________________ Goldie the track car. |

right next to the oil breather t peice underneath the inlet manifold. i think where/what you are describing with the small breahter pipe into the block.grey 2 pin plug (i think, was very dirty) went and had a google, found the ubiquitous picture of the colour coded engine block sensors https://www.205gtidrivers.com/forums/topic/99387-gti6-xu10j4rs-sensor-identification/ red - oil pressure warning switch. ________________________________________ the world is changed by people in sheds |

Some use two sensors, one is just a blank. Both the red and the pink (205 drivers link) are oil pressure and can be used. ________________________________________ How to do a clicky: click here remove the space between [url & = |
