cant find much info about it. its one of the last sensors i havnt replaced. cant seem to find a new one either.

how do i test my one?

what are symptoms of a bad sensor?

i havnt touched the housing for it either, seems to vent two things into my intake, im guessing charcoal cansiter and oil breather?

stil feels like my cars not quite idling right, from cold it hesitates/stutters at bang on 2000rpm for the first minute or so.
after that its fine, pulls ok, but still feels a little lumpy at times.

between this sensor and the charcaol cansiter system messing up somthing im not sure what else anymore.

urgh, its a heater not a sensor....but still....can it be messing up and be doing dicky things?

quite unlikely in the ambient temperatures we see here, you mean the yellow plug on the front not the grey one right?

yeah the yellow one.....ive tested my gray one and its fine, resistances are fine throughout the temp range.

i was half thinking maybe the heaters shorting to ground or adding excess load to my alternator but then again i figure it would of blown a fuse.

either that or the charcoal evap canister valve system is being dicky and adding some kind of vac leak.

its such a weird problem, the 2000rpm hesitation only from cold, and its very repeatable.

its like one of the weird "startup/choke/cold engine/ecu functions" is half kicking in and not working or something.

any ideas?
