Hi all,

Does anyone have a stock xu10j4rs cam out and can measure the base circle (accross the narrow part of the cam lobe) for me?

I have recently bought a '97 gti6 in Australia with jenvey itbs and supposedly cams, but I have them out and they look stock with no markings at all so I want to comfirm before I get them reground to a stage 1 Peter Taylor spec.

I have measured the lift at 10.2mm (about stock) and when they were in the head, I measured duration of about 216 degrees at 0.050' lift with a dial gauge on the lifters which seems longer than the 205 degrees I believe stock ones are.

If you have something easily available to measure with calipers it would help me out a lot!

cheers, Richard Allen,
